Our client is a historic Italian company active in facility management, and they have entrusted us to find a Junior IT Specialist – Help Desk for first-level support. The person will assist the company's monitoring team, managing routine and extraordinary activities related to client-side and departmental applications, ensuring quality service standards are met. Activities and responsibilities: Provisioning hardware and configuring workstations and related IT services; Engaging and coordinating with third-party suppliers to ensure task completion; Supporting the identification and design of new IT solutions or technological evolution of existing infrastructure; Providing first-level IT user support / Help Desk; Supporting Office package and standard applications (Kofax PDF, Web Browser); Supporting webinars and video conferences (Zoom); Managing Microsoft tenant and Office 365 email; Managing users (creation, modification, deletion) on Windows, network, printing, Azure, Zoom, VPN; Managing antivirus and antispam solutions; Managing multifunction devices; Supporting networking issues; Managing client relationships. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Computer Science; At least 6 months of experience in Help Desk support; Knowledge of Trouble Ticketing tools and remote ticket management software; Excellent knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 (permissions, printer management, driver configuration, network setup, installation, and recovery); Good ability to install and maintain laser, inkjet, thermal printers, multifunction scanners/faxes; Good knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals (component replacement and troubleshooting); Familiarity with Android smartphones (iOS knowledge is a plus); Basic knowledge of third-party and Microsoft software such as Teams and Office Suite. Additional qualities: Problem-solving skills; Teamwork orientation and ability to work independently; Good communication, organizational, and planning skills. Preferred knowledge: Microsoft certifications (Windows 7/10, Server 2012/2016) or VMware; Previous experience in corporate data centers; Basic scripting knowledge (Batch for Microsoft, Bash for Linux); Basic understanding of Windows Server (Active Directory, network shares, client/server software); Basic networking knowledge (PC configuration, IP phones, network devices).
