For an important multinational company we are looking for: _COMMODITY BUYER ELECTRONICS _ - Reporting to the Global Category Manager, this person will support the Category management team in the development of strategic purchasing activities and drive the execution of key initiatives in different commodities of the electronics spend category (i.e. sourcing and scouting, raw material pricing analysis, strategy definition, solutions optimization, supplier management, risk mitigation)._ Mai activities and responsibilities: - Contribute to the Category Strategy development - Manage key suppliers - Identify new interesting LCC countries to explore - Identify new potential suppliers for the assigned commodities - Negotiate contracts - Identify and execute saving initiatives - Support internal departments (Quality, Logistics and Technology) on Purchasing-related topics - Manage relationship with local Purchasing teams - Contract Execution - Corporate templates creation and maintenance - Support PPAP and sampling - Data Analysis - RFQ/tenders - Sourcing Plan compilation Technical and personal skills: - University Degree ore equivalent, preferably in Electronics engineering - At lest 5 years in the strategic sourcing in international worldwide companies - Category/Commodity management experience - International negotiations, with forex competences - Solid understanding of electronics, components and devices: - Ability to manage change initiatives in a proactive way - Experience in managing international projects - Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills - Target oriented team player - Target oriented approach - Available to business trips at global level - Fluent in English Place of work: Colorno (PR) or Seriate (BG) or in remote working
