PRODUCTION PLANNER (F/M)
AREA: Supply Chain
Overview
Elkem Siliconi Italia is looking for a Production Planner, for our Caronno Pertusella site, to join the Supply Chain Team.
Main tasks and responsabilities:
-Definition and update of the production plan (short, medium, long term) according to:
* Supply Chain logics (stock strategy MTS /MTO)
* Commercial logic (customer orders/forecasts/budgets)
* Availability of components (MRP logics);
-Monitor delivery dates and production progress, analysing any deviations from what was planned and taking appropriate corrective action where necessary.
-Support the production department in managing capacity constraints that impact production plans or satisfaction of demand
-Initiate proactive and corrective actions to improve service levels to customer or to improve internal efficiencies in the supply chain process.
-Monitor Service KPIs and related reports by periodically sharing the results with the SC Manager and analyzing the causes of non-compliance.
-Active participation in company projects and promoter of continuous improvement process
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in economics/management;
* Precision, proactivity and desire to learn;
* Ability to collaborate in teams and with other functions;
* Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and/or previous experience in the same job
* Knowledge of the principles of a production flow (work cycles, bills of materials, production constraints)
* Knowledge of warehouse management logics (safety stocks, kanban)
The profile is completed by:
* good knowledge of Office and SAP
* knowledge of Power BI preferable
* good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken);
