One of our clients, Savaré, a worldwide technology leader in Adhesive Specialty Chemicals, due to its footprint expansion, is looking for a :
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
with a passion for technology innovation and successful project execution, to oversee strategic supply chain planning and execution across its operations in Europe, USA, and Korea / Japan .
Job Responsibilities :
* Act as a key liaison with customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment between operational capabilities and customer expectations .
* Conduct on-site visits to assess and improve service levels.
* Liaise with the commercial team to ensure alignment with Sales Plan .
* Production Planning & Scheduling
* Develop and implement a robust production planning process
* Coordinate capacity planning and material availability, proactively managing constraints and adjustments.
* Support production teams in optimizing daily schedules to improve efficiency and ensuring accurate promise-to-customer dates .
* Material Planning & Inventory Management
* Execute and Analyse MRP leveraging Bill of Materials (BoM)provided by R&D team, minimizing financial impact during product transitions.
* Oversee inventory targets, balancing cost, service levels, and operational efficiency.
* Logistic & Supply Chain Optimization
* Drive best-in-class inbound and outbound logistic performance, ensuring cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
* Partner with operations, procurement, and commercial team to optimize supply chain design and execution .
* Performance Monitoring & KPIs
* Develop and maintain supply chain performance dashboards, tracking KPIs on forecast accuracy, delivery performance and inventory levels.
* Lead data-driven decision-making processes, presenting insights to Operations and Commercial Teams.
* ERP & Digital Transformation
* Play the champion role to support the enhancement and adoption of existing ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with supply chain operations.
* Ensure supply chain parameters in the ERP system are correctly maintained and reviewed .
Manage direct and indirect reports in logistics, customer service and planning and report to the Operations Director.
Key Qualifications and Skills :
* Education : Master’s degree in Management or Chemical Engineering .
* Experience : 5 years’ hands-on experience in manufacturing settings (ideally in the chemical industry), with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
* Technical Skills : knowledge of supply chain planning, logistics and warehouse management. Process mindset, lean thinking principles and methodologies.
* Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to achieve organizational goals. Servant leadership attitude. Proactive, dynamic, and passionate about driving operational excellence.
* Languages : High proficiency in English is required; good command of Italian.
* Travel : Availability to travel internationally as required.
