Testing Engineering Manager
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1. Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and implementing quality assurance, test processes, test automation, and the associated infrastructure for multiple products.
2. End-to-end view of testing gates and risk management to assure quality to final customers, coordinating projects for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware on various platforms.
3. Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple projects, ensuring resource allocation and achievement of goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
4. Communicates project status and escalates issues to relevant stakeholders.
5. Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, setting expectations and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
6. Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
7. Provides people-care management, including hiring, performance monitoring, coaching, and career development for team members.
Education and Experience Required:
* First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degrees are a plus.
* Typically 5+ years of related experience, including 0-2 years in people management.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
* Experience building processes or teams from scratch.
* Advanced project management skills, including risk and resource management.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Technical knowledge in applications and technologies, with strong business acumen.
* Ability to manage human capital across geographies.
