Job Description: The System Design Lead will work within the Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering team and collaborate with Product Release Centers (PRCs) and other Stellantis cross-functional teams to support product development through virtual analysis. The candidate will be accountable for the technical development and refinement of the propulsion system of reference, lead risk management and issue resolution with internal counterparts, expertise network and supplier team. The candidate interfaces with engine, controls, transmission hardware, vehicle platform, powertrain synthesis and other cross-functional teams and communicates regularly through oral presentations and written reports to Propulsion Systems management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze architectures and concepts to achieve functional requirements
- Deliver milestone assessments for each project milestone
- Lead the lessons learned of issues until the appropriate update of standards
- Risk management
- Communicate regularly through oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, COEs, Component Engineers and Propulsion Systems management

REQUIREMENTS
- Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Applied Physics, or related Engineering field)
- Thorough knowledge of the English language including both written and oral communication
- Strong analytical and technical background in automotive
- Effective communications skills and analytical thinking
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and uncertainty
- Excellent work ethic, organization skills and communication skills
- Proactive, learning, self-driven, teamwork oriented
