Business Leadership Opportunity
The role of Business Unit Director is a key strategic position, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), with full Profit and Loss (P&L) ownership of the Business Unit.
This senior leadership role requires a strong managerial leader who can establish trust with stakeholders and executives, ensure sound domain knowledge of industrial topics, and drive growth and achievement of strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strong managerial leadership across all areas of the Business Unit, combining hands-on understanding of complex industrial operations with a structured performance-driven approach.
* Acting as a role model to build credibility, align teams, and strengthen the Business Unit's ability to commit and deliver on ambitious goals.
* Maintaining a solid market presence, managing complex relationships with institutional and private clients/stakeholders, and actively contributing to business development and post-sales engagement.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction in terms of on-time delivery and quality performance, while also guaranteeing the achievement of industrial and financial targets.
Requirements
Successful candidates will possess:
* A university degree in technical or engineering disciplines, although candidates with alternative academic backgrounds may be considered if they have developed relevant skills and experience.
* Round and senior experience of 15+ years in relevant roles within international and complex industrial/manufacturing companies.
* Proven track-record in managing a Business Unit or P&L, strengthened by a solid background in operations including production, supply chain, and quality control.
* Solid finance knowledge, with direct experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
* Ability to drive execution with a strategic mindset, supporting growth in a fast-changing environment, and defining and executing medium to long-term plans aligned with corporate goals.
