Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form. /ppWe are looking for a Front desk manager to join our Front office team. /ppThe ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community. /ppstrongMain duties and responsibilities: /strong /pulliGreeting guests and ensuring that they receive an efficient and friendly check-in and check-out /liliRooming our guests /liliAnswering enquiries and providing information about the hotel and local area to guests /liliOrganising special requests and communicate with all departments within the hotel to ensure that our guests receive the highest standard of service. /liliImplementing of the Leading Quality Assurance Standards /liliSupporting, training, and supervising front office staff. /liliMaintains working relationships and communicates with all departments. /liliAllocate guest rooms according to the reservation requests and guests needs /liliVerifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated. /liliResolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously. /liliConducts regularly scheduled meetings with the front office team /liliMaximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. /liliEnsure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules. /liliOperate all aspects of Front Office computer systems. /liliEnsure answer to all messages and emails in a timely and professional manner. /liliMonitor all V.I.P 's special guests and requests. /liliReview daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit. /liliReview Front office log book and guest feedback on a daily basis. /liliMaintain an organised and comprehensive filing system with all documentation /liliPerform Duty Manager duties and other duties requested by management /li /ulpstrongRequirements /strong /pulliAt least 5 years of previous professional experience preferably at international level in the same role; /liliFluent in English and Italian. A third language is required; /liliKnowledge of Hotel Management software /liliKnowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) /li /ulpstrongOther requirements: /strong /pulliCollaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player /liliDrive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues /liliGlobal perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background /li /ulpstrongBelmond and you: /strong /pulliWe offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
