Job Opportunity: Junior Project Engineer - Castelnuovo Vomano (TE) We are seeking a new team member for our facility in Castelnuovo Vomano (TE) to fill the role of Junior Project Engineer. The successful candidate will prepare documentation, layouts, budgets, and project schedules for capital projects, and support the drafting of documentation related to training, safety, food safety, and maintenance. The project responsibilities will range from improving equipment and facilities to installation and commissioning of entire processes, production lines, and civil expansions. Main Activities Identify, lead, and implement opportunities for reducing production costs by proposing modifications to equipment or processes to save materials or improve operational efficiency. Maintain technical layouts of plants and equipment using AutoCAD and 3D engineering databases. Work closely with supervisors, maintenance, and production departments to adequately train employees, and collaborate with the safety team to identify and implement modifications to eliminate safety and health issues on the line. Provide guidance on preventive and repair maintenance to ensure plant operations meet scheduled requirements. Create technical drawings and documentation. Perform technical/engineering analyses to determine equipment specifications, capacity limits, maintenance requirements, part design, and equipment layouts. Plan and execute projects within operational structures, ensuring employee safety, contractor safety, and food safety standards are met. Ensure project execution adheres to budget and schedule requirements. Promote continuous improvement and innovation in processes, technology, and production procedures, including methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SMED, Preventive Maintenance, and TWI Job Instruction. Requirements Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. At least 3 years of experience managing or executing engineering projects. Technical system analysis, design capabilities, technical understanding, CAD process improvement, manufacturing methods, and preventive maintenance. Familiarity with OSHA, BRC regulations, and authorization requirements. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD/3D design software, and MS Project. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving, coaching, and training abilities within production teams. Ability to manage multiple activities, prioritize, and adapt to change easily. Excellent command of the English language.
