As a Software Development Engineer in the team, you will engage with an experienced cross‑disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products by developing and integrating Android‑based features and applications. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liThe development of new Android innovative features and applications and initiatives across the organization. /li liInvestigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative software applications. /li liDeliver high‑quality software through working in a diverse, team‑focused Agile/Scrum environment. /li liInstill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver quality work. /li liSupport the development activities by being onsite with the partners and vendors. /li /ul pWe are a team of passionate individuals, proud of what we deliver for our customers. No process is set in stone and we believe in constant incremental improvement. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in professional, non‑internship software development. /li liExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object‑oriented design. /li liKnowledge of professional software engineering best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence. /li liExperience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. /li liExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
