Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with our standard of service; /liliLeads by example and assists developing highly motivated, pro-active Team Members with the highest ethical standards in order to deliver a quality oriented service to our Guests; /liliSets clear goals for the Spa Team and provides support to ensure these are achieved; /liliPlays an active role in the forward planning for the department, with a key emphasis on both long term strategy for the department and short term operational requirements; /liliUndertakes and checks departmental briefings and handovers of shifts, making sure that communication is flawless; /liliEnsures effective cooperation within the department, as well as with other departments. /liliEnsures that regular on-the-job training is delivered and Team Members understand what is expected of them; /liliAssures that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are planned and implemented, in partnership with the LD Manager; /liliResponsible for selection and development of the Spa Team, monitoring performance and providing feedback; /liliIn conjunction with the Hotel Manager, prepares and implements budgets and analyses sales figures, ensuring all relevant information is discussed and passed on to Team Members; /liliEnsures all forecasts and timesheets are submitted in a timely manner to the relevant department; /liliKeeps abreast of the newest trends and innovations in the wellness industry.
