Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain, which activities include avionics, navigation, and radar systems for civil air traffic, supporting civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers, and technicians worldwide. Italy acts as the Group’s Competence Center for the design, production, and delivery of Navigation Aids products and non-Radar Surveillance Products.
Responsibilities
* Project management of NAS for service contracts execution.
* Manage customer projects in the Airspace Mobility Solutions domain, including NAVAIDS and Non-Radar Surveillance, with responsibilities for sales, costs, cash, and project quality, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Ensure adherence to Thales processes and monitor project performance via relevant indicators (financial and schedule efficiency).
* Perform risk analysis related to the area of responsibility.
* Manage international customers in multi-supplier environments.
* Plan, execute, and oversee contract delivery and acceptance stages.
* Represent Thales interests within the assigned area.
* Analyze contract content and implement in delivery and service packages.
* Monitor and update project sales, forecasts, costs, and schedules.
* Manage customer requests and contract changes to closure.
* Coordinate with external suppliers.
* Create and maintain project documentation following Thales processes.
* Capture lessons learned and provide feedback to departments.
* Participate in offers, create schedules, and conduct risk assessments.
* Drive change order management and upselling in collaboration with Legal, Contracts, and Sales teams.
Qualifications
* Engineering degree or equivalent certification.
Experience
* Minimum of 5 years in project management within an international business context.
* Strong knowledge of business administration, contract, and supplier management.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Familiarity with national/international air traffic control regulations is desirable.
Skills
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* German and/or French is a plus.
* Proficient in Italian (spoken and written).
* Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
* Independent, creative problem solver.
* Leadership skills, including lateral team leadership.
* Stakeholder influence and negotiation skills, especially with international clients.
* Willingness to travel globally.
