The Process Leader is responsible for the activities related to the Process discipline within medium / small size projects or, reporting to the Process Manager, for a specific scope of work within a large complex project. Responsibilities Coordinate the pertaining engineering center and other engineering centers involved in the project, ensuring document consistency with the contract, adherence to the project schedule, and the quality of documents under the supervision of the Process Engineering Manager. Interface with the other Discipline leaders and Vendors for Process-related activities that are part of the project under his/her responsibility. Participate in multidisciplinary reviews such as Plot Plan, Hazop and 3D model for the part under his/her responsibility. Ensure assistance during the construction and commissioning phase from home office or on site in accordance with project requirements. Coordinate activities performed by the Process team and analyze technical documentation to be provided to the Proposal Function during the bidding phase. The Process Leader can be assigned to large size or high complexity projects (e.g. multi-line project) as a support to the Process Manager for the management of a specific portion (e.g. one line) of the related Process activities. As a member of the Department, the duties of the Process Leader include providing feedback to the Process Head of Department regarding issues raised by the application of methodology, standards and working instructions, to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department; conducting technical training and sharing experiences with colleagues of the Maire Tecnimont Group for new Discipline or Group design methods; keeping updated about Process design and promoting improvements. Knowledge & Qualifications Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, more than 8 years of experience in similar roles, good management skills of personnel and aptitude for learning chemical processes and production activities Advanced knowledge of production processes, production methods and technologies Skills in the use of process simulation software (ASPEN, HYSYS, others) Knowledge of AutoCAD basic features Excellent use of MS Office system (especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point) Experience Proven professional experience in the chemical, petrochemical, refining or fuel sectors, with involvement or exposure to sustainability initiatives or special projects concerning circular economy or energy transition.
