We are supporting a specialist engineering company operating within pharmaceutical manufacturing who are looking to hire a hands-on CQV Engineer to support equipment installation and qualification activities across Italy.
Responsibilities
* Perform installation and startup of machines delivered in multiple parts (mechanical assembly, piping, panels, doors)
* Install electrical and electronic components (PLC, HMI, sensors, transmitters)
* Execute system power-up and verify all connections (Profinet / Profibus communication)
* Perform Installation Qualification (IQ) including I/O checks and device verification
* Execute Operational Qualification (OQ) including functional testing of systems
* Carry out calibration activities (pressure, temperature, humidity, airflow, particle counting)
* Work with standard field tools (multimeter, clamp meter, calibration instruments)
* Travel across Italy to support on-site project delivery
Requirements
* 3–5 years experience in startup, commissioning or CQV within pharma or equipment environments
* Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical installation capability
* Experience working with xrdztoy PLC systems and industrial communication protocols (Profinet / Profibus)
* Exposure to calibration activities (pressure, temperature, airflow, etc.)
* Background in sterilisation equipment, autoclaves or process machinery is highly desirable
* Comfortable working in a site-based, travel-heavy role
* Italian and English language capability required
