Join to apply for the System Validation Engineer - AUTOMOTIVE role at ALTEN Italia Location : Torino, Modena Responsibilities: Define and develop testing and validation strategies for embedded systems in automotive, focusing on Battery Management Systems (BMS). Analyze system requirements and verify technical documentation. Execute tests on HIL, SIL, and vehicle benches to ensure system compliance, especially regarding battery energy management and optimization. Identify and manage non-conformities, supporting software and hardware development teams in resolving anomalies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve system performance, particularly in charging strategies and BMS protection. Requirements: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related fields. Experience in testing and validation of embedded systems, preferably in BMS or electric powertrain sectors. Familiarity with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and functional safety standards for high-voltage systems. Knowledge of testing and analysis tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink), with experience in CAN networks and ECU communication. Good command of English language. Why choose ALTEN?
