The Role
The AI Engineering Team works across cloud platforms to help enterprise clients adopt and integrate Artificial Intelligence into their operations — developing scalable, production-ready AI and ML solutions that are embedded into business processes and architecture.
As an AI Engineering Team Lead, you will design and oversee the delivery of advanced Machine Learning (ML) solutions, ensuring the highest standards of performance, security, and governance.
You’ll lead a team of AI Engineers, collaborating with Cloud Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to deliver end-to-end ML systems. This includes defining AI and data architecture best practices, implementing MLOps platforms, ensuring AI observability, and guiding integration and deployment.
Key Requirements:
* Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
* Extensive experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services.
* 5+ years’ experience in software development using Python, Scala, Java, or similar languages.
* Expertise in software design, algorithms, and data structures.
* Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, and software lifecycle automation.
* Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Generative AI concepts and applications.
* Proficiency in SQL for database design, querying, and ETL processes.
* Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams and managing pre-sales or delivery activities.
* Fluent Italian and professional English required.
