CIAM Security Specialist (Nevis) with at least 2 years of experience
We are looking for a person passionate about application security and identity architectures who wants to specialize (or is already specialized) in the
Nevis product suite (Nevis Identity Suite / Nevis Security Suite).
The role is strongly focused on analysis, troubleshooting, and governance of the
CIAM (Customer Identity & Access Management)
solution within complex enterprise architectures, rather than on pure software development.
Main Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain CIAM solutions based on Nevis within modern software architectures
Analyze and resolve complex authentication, authorization, and federation issues
Manage and validate Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules (especially ModSecurity) and correlate security events
Support development, architecture, and operations teams in properly integrating the CIAM platform
Collaborate with the vendor (Nevis/AdNovum) and various cross-functional internal teams
Perform repetitive validation and tuning activities on security rules with accuracy and a methodical approach
Technical Requirements
Strong understanding of the role of CIAM within enterprise architectures (authentication flows, sessions, tokens, risk-based authentication, etc.)
Solid knowledge of federation protocols:
OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0
Excellent knowledge of the
HTTP protocol
Hands-on experience with
Web Application Firewalls
, preferably ModSecurity (rules, tuning, false positives, CRS)
Familiarity with scripting languages used in Nevis: Lua and Groovy
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
Background in web application development (Java, .NET, Node.js, or PHP), even if development is not a daily activity
Good system administration knowledge and strong command of Unix/Linux environments (shell, processes, file system, permissions)
Previous experience with Nevis products
