You will therefore need to be located in one of those three Geos to manage that specific team that spans few timezones from youbrOur Internet of Things mission is to enable companies to make fleets of very secure connected devices. Successful candidates will know Linux well and be proficient coders and scripters. They will have experience of low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware and embedded software development methodologies. Competitive, business-focused technologists at heart, they are also team drivers that take pride in team and company wins.brThe role entailsbrulliLead and develop a team of Field engineers, ranging from graduate to senior, in the areas of Presales and Professional Services /liliSolve customer problems by promoting our technologies and being a trusted advisor /liliWork remotely in a single major time zone /liliCoach, mentor, and offer career development feedback /liliIdentify and measure team health indicators /liliImplement disciplined engineering processes /liliRepresent your team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers /liliDevelop and evangelise great engineering and organisational practices /liliPlan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects /liliBe an active part of the leadership team, collaborating with other leadersbr/li /ulWhat we are looking for in youbrulliExceptional academic track record from both high school and university /liliBachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field /liliExtensive embedded Linux experience - Yocto or other /liliExtensive Linux experience - Debian or Ubuntu preferred /liliFluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust /liliAbility to manage a small team /liliExperience with customer engagements /liliProfessional written and spoken English /liliExcellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability /liliResult-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments /liliAn ability to communicate the business benefits of technology /liliAn humble learner and quick studybr/li /ulOther desirable traits include RTOS experience, additional languages (both the programming and human kinds), and previous experience working in a remote-first, diverse, distributed company.brWhat we offer youbrWe consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide.
