Mission We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for project & proposal management for international R&D and industrial projects focused on Energy Digital Innovation & Cybersecurity. You will collaborate with team members and colleagues to meet customer needs and achieve company objectives. The team operates especially in the context of local and international funding programs such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, Innovation Fund, EMFAF, IPCEI, EIT, RFCS, Interreg, PRIMA, Fondo Transizione Industriale, Contratti di Sviluppo, ARERA, and other local funding programs related to PNRR. Job Responsibilities The new resource will be part of the Energy Research, Development and Innovation Group, mainly involved in innovative projects. Key responsibilities include: Contributing to the identification and development of new project ideas and opportunities. Leading or assisting in proposal preparation (technical and budgeting) for R&D & Innovation projects under European and international funding programs or industrial projects. Managing or supporting project execution. Collaborating with internal experts and international partners on technical development. Developing digital tools for consulting and engineering services. Supporting the software development team in interactions with partners and clients. Designing innovative software solutions to solve customer problems. Preparing reports, presentations, and project deliverables. Overseeing contracts financially and economically (profit and loss management). Supporting expansion of RINA's R&D network. Acting as interface between software developers and other colleagues within the Energy Business Unit. Contributing to business development initiatives as needed. Skills and Education PhD in Software Engineering or Computer Science, with a focus on cybersecurity preferred. Relevant work experience may compensate for different degrees. Experience with European R&D funded projects is a plus. Understanding of programming concepts and software development practices. Ability to solve complex problems and adapt to new technologies. Knowledge of agile development and software lifecycle management. Fluency in English and Italian. Excellent reporting skills. Strong research and organizational skills. Effective team working ability. Open-mindedness, innovation, and positive attitude towards networking.
