HiQ, a privately Australian owned family company, has an exciting opportunity for a Weighbridge Coordinator to join our team at Bulla to ensure continued exceptional service.
Our company specialises in resource recycling, landfills, waste treatment, quarry operations, and transport and logistics, with operations across NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
Position Overview
The Weighbridge Coordinator is responsible for supporting weighbridge operations and providing administrative support at our Bulla site. This role ensures accurate weighing of waste vehicles using Mandalay software, oversees weighbridge staff, and maintains compliance with EPA Victoria regulations. Acting as a central point of coordination, the position supports smooth daily operations, accurate documentation, and effective communication across teams.
This is a full‑time position, working Monday to Friday with weekend overtime as required.
Main responsibilities include:
* Assist with job setup in Mandalay, monitor quote registers, and prepare reports.
* Support invoicing processes and liaise with interstate admin leads.
* Assist with onboarding, rosters, and performance review processes for weighbridge staff.
* Manage weighbridge staff leave in line with upper management and company procedures.
* Provide coverage for weighbridge operations during breaks, busy periods, or staff absences.
* Maintain compliance with EPA regulations and HiQ policies.
* Help identify workflow improvements and assist with new system implementations.
The successful candidate will:
* Have strong administration or site coordination experience.
* Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Be able to prioritise, multitask, and work effectively under pressure.
* Show familiarity with waste management processes and EPA compliance (preferred).
* Be proficient in data entry, reporting, and preparing client‑facing documentation.
* Display a proactive, solution‑focused attitude and strong communication skills.
* Hold a current driver’s licence and White Card (or be willing to obtain).
