As a Structured Finance Expert, you will be part of the Chief Transition & Financial Officer team, which is responsible for developing and implementing Eni's economic and financial strategy, as well as its two energy transition‐related companies, Plenitude and Enilive. As part of your team, you will be involved in project financing and structuring complex financial transactions.Key responsibilities
Conduct feasibility analyses of industrial project financing and evaluate the various funding structures that can be activatedFollow the structuring, negotiation and implementation of structured finance transactions (e.g. project financing, reserve‐based lending, pre‐export financing and similar instruments) and hybrid instrumentsManage the financing structuring of initiatives developed in joint ventures with industrial and financial partnersFollow the evaluation and activation of subsidized finance tools, in coordination with the relevant internal functionsManage relationships with banks, supranational financial institutions and export credit agencies in relation to the area of expertiseSupport M&A transactions, with particular reference to assessing the sustainability of financing structures.
Required characteristics
Master's degree in economics; candidates with other qualifications may be considered if they have significant experience in the roleAt least 5 years of experience, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, banking or financial consulting sectorsExcellent knowledge of the English language.
