Job Opportunity: European Manager Financial Audit
Our client, a multinational company headquartered in the United States operating in the industrial sector, is seeking to strengthen its team by hiring a European Manager Financial Audit.
Reporting directly to the Global VP Internal Audit, the role will oversee the European audit function, providing ongoing evaluation of the internal control structure, including operational efficiency, financial reporting reliability, and regulatory compliance.
1. Execute the annual internal audit plan addressing key operational and financial risks.
2. Support the annual risk assessment process.
3. Engage with management and external auditors regarding audit findings, controls, ethics, and compliance.
4. Conduct comprehensive reviews of Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404, and other operational audits.
5. Collaborate with external auditors and lead continuous improvement projects aligned with organizational strategy.
6. Manage the department’s budget and participate in special projects.
We are looking for candidates with:
* A degree in Economics or related fields.
* 7-8 years of experience in auditing within audit firms or manufacturing companies.
* Deep knowledge of international accounting standards, PCAOB standards, SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and COSO Framework.
* Proficiency with data analysis tools and visualization platforms such as Power BI.
* Fluent English language skills.
* Leadership skills, intercultural team coordination, analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%).
The position offers a flexible work arrangement combining smart working and presence in the Bergamo province.
