Our client is a fast-growing energy technology company on a mission to make green hydrogen affordable and accessible to all. With operations across Europe and Asia, they design and manufacture cutting-edge electrolysis systems that produce low-cost, zero-emission hydrogen at any scale. Their international team is united by a bold vision and three guiding principles: Urgency, Simplicity, and Transparency.
As they scale up global operations, they are looking for a detail-driven Industrial Engineer to help optimize production workflows, support scale-up efforts, and ensure high product quality across their manufacturing and testing processes.
If you’re passionate about sustainability, innovation, and want to play an active role in the energy transition, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Role in Powering a Hydrogen Future:
* Design, implement, and document production, testing, and intralogistics workflows that are efficient, safe, and circular-economy aligned
* Define infrastructure and machinery requirements for scaling up production
* Optimize manufacturing through lean methodologies, automation, continuous improvement, and work balancing
* Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate electro-mechanical systems and ensure seamless implementation of process changes
* Create and improve systems for real-time monitoring (M.E.S.), troubleshooting, and reporting in production
* Draft clear technical documentation, equipment lists, cost analyses, and training manuals
* Contribute to layout planning and staff training as production scales
* Support the design of testing equipment involving gas, liquid, and electrical panels
What You Bring to the Team:
* A Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Energy Engineering (or related field)
* 2–3 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of lean production systems, electromechanical assembly, and thermodynamic principles
* Ability to think critically, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
* Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD/Inventor, MS Office, and an understanding of P&IDs and electrical diagrams
* Italian fluency (C1) and strong English skills (B2/C1)
* Bonus: experience with SQL, Python, or PLC programming
Why You’ll Love It Here:
* Work on some of the most innovative tech in the hydrogen industry
* Flat hierarchies and open collaboration – your voice matters
* Flexible work environment with autonomy and room to grow
* Competitive compensation, 33.5 days paid leave, paid sick leave, and optional health & pension coverage
* Meal vouchers, office coffee corners, team treats, and a sustainably sourced welcome kit
* Be part of a close-knit team based near Pisa – in a buzzing R&D and production facility
Ready to Shape the Future?
Whether you tick every box or not, if you’re excited about driving sustainability through green hydrogen and want to make a real-world impact, we want to hear from you!
Our client celebrates diversity and believes great ideas come from all walks of life. If you bring a unique perspective or background that can strengthen their mission – tell us about it in your application.
