Responsibilities Develop concepts, mood boards, and material palettes to align with project aesthetics. Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D renderings to visualize interior design proposals. Research, select, and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment for various interior projects. Ensure all selections meet the required quality, durability, and compliance standards. Collaborate with architects to ensure Interior and FF&E complement the overall design scheme. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors for interior procurement. Manage purchase orders, pricing, and budget tracking for Interior and FF&E items. Review and approve samples, finishes, and shop drawings from vendors. Ensure timely delivery and installation of items per project deadlines. Project Coordination & Documentation Prepare schedules, specifications, and procurement reports for project management. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and logistics teams for on-site delivery and installation. Budgeting & Cost Control Work within allocated budgets to maximize value while maintaining design integrity. Track expenses, provide cost estimates, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Ensure procurement aligns with project financial goals and constraints. Compliance & Sustainability Ensure all selections comply with safety, fire, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations in design and procurement. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Procurement, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Interior Design and FF&E design Skills: Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and industry standards. Software & Tools: Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and procurement tools. Other Abilities: Excellent negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management skills. Organization: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communication: Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with designers, vendors, and project teams. Other Requirements Knowledge of contract furniture and hospitality FF&E procurement (preferred). Understanding of sustainable materials would be a plus.
