Italy is the Group’s Competence centre for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and a Competence Centre for the delivery of non‑Radar Surveillance Products. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the IVVQ Manager in the definition of IVVQ strategy and the generation of associated estimates and schedule. /li liPropose IVVQ testing methods, acceptance criteria and manage their implementation. /li liCommunicate design non‑compliances to the team and wider internal/external stakeholders promptly; participate in technical event boards. /li liPrepare System IVVQ activities. /li liExecute IVVQ activities on‑site at Gorgonzola or at customer premises to deliver evidence of compliance with requirements. /li liAnalyse test results and/or data and produce technical reports. /li liHighlight technical risks in the IVVQ phase to the Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) and Product Design Authority (PDA), proposing mitigating actions. /li liLiaise with the PDA and Architect to ensure IVVQ aligns with design and complies with all requirements. /li liSupport capitalisation activities for the department and capture lessons learned. /li liEnsure unambiguous testability of requirements. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in IVVQ. /li liGood understanding of IVVQ strategies and philosophies. /li liExperience with test activities, formal verification or validation activities. /li liEffective team player capable of interfacing at all levels across the organization. /li liAbility to operate successfully in a multi‑cultural environment with distributed teams. /li liStrong organisational and team‑working skills. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication, negotiation skills and the capacity to influence various stakeholders. /li liCreative thinking and willingness to think outside the box. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liKnowledge of lab equipment for electronics and RF engineering such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. /li liKnowledge of scripting languages or other testing frameworks for test automation. /li liKnowledge of the System Engineering V‑model. /li liFluency in English and Italian; additional language proficiency (e.g., French) is a plus. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liBasic knowledge of Navaids equipment such as ILS, VOR, TACAN, DME and understanding of air navigation services regulations such as EN, ICAO or specific local standards. /li liKnowledge of Aerospace System / Software / Hardware quality assurance standards: SAE ARP4754, EUROCAE ED‑109A (RTCA DO‑278A), EUROCAE ED‑80 (RTCA DO‑254), EUROCAE ED‑153. /li liProficiency in issue tracking software (e.g., Jira). /li liProficiency in requirements and test management tools. /li /ul pAt Thales we provide careers and not only jobs.
