McConnell Dowell New Zealand is thriving and has a growing pipeline of work geographically spread across the country. We have an excellent opportunity for a Trade Assistant at Auckland working in our Mechanical division.
**About The role**
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Mechanical Manager, you will support in perform duties around facility incorporating but not limited to:
- Assist tradesman in their duties.
- General cleaning as requested.
- Site deliveries of fabricated products to multiple project sites.
- Collection and drop of materials to and from suppliers.
- Operator fork hoist to load trucks.
- Operate delivery truck.
**About you**
- Relevant Trade Qualifications.
- Minimum 4 to 8 years’ experience
- Experience in maintenance projects
- Proven experience in working under mínimal supervision
- Must have a proactive approach regarding Health and Safety
- Ability to work hands-on, proactively, and unsupervised
- Fit and healthy and be prepared to work hard
- You will need to be a good team player, reliable, and work well in a team
