Position Available
We are seeking an electrician who will be part of our maintenance team and report directly to the Production Manager. The main responsibilities include maintaining electrical systems and equipment in optimal working condition. This includes repairing motors, pumps, electrical panels, and other devices, as well as conducting regular inspections to prevent malfunctions.
* Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
* Maintenance of electrical systems, installations, and offices.
* Diagnostic tests to verify the functioning of machinery or installations.
* Identification of primary electrical anomalies or malfunctions in machines or installations, followed by replacement of electrical and mechanical components.
* Small-scale setup and calibration tasks related to electricity.
* Post-failure inspection of machinery to identify causes and create a maintenance record.
* Support during external maintenance work.
Requirements:
* Upper secondary school diploma, preferably with technical and electrical focus.
* Excellent understanding of industrial electrical schematics and knowledge of mechanical design.
* At least 2 years of experience in identifying electrical faults and intervening accordingly.
* Proficiency in using tools for analysis and intervention in electrical and mechanical fields (e.g., pliers, drills, phase testers).
* Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, flexibility, teamwork skills, and good interpersonal relationships and problem-solving abilities.
Working hours: 40 hours per week on shifts; direct employment contract under the CNL Chemical Industry Collective Labour Agreement.
