We are looking for Robotics Design Engineers who will primarily be responsible for:
* Analyzing, designing and developing automation software for industrial machinery by identifying the most appropriate existing solutions and developing new ones, in compliance with technical specifications, standards, safety regulations, defined timelines, and costs.
* Developing software for robotic solutions (primarily based on ABB and Fanuc).
* Integrating vision systems software with robotic applications.
* Providing documentation to support the developed solutions.
* Supporting the implementation phases of the developed projects, identifying and implementing any technical modifications and ensuring the related updates.
* Testing the developed software on machines.
* Collaborating in the definition of feasibility studies for new projects and providing technical training to both internal and external clients.
REQUIREMENTS
* Master’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic)
* At least 2-3 years of experience in the automation field; experience in robotics will be considered a plus.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; ability to manage relationships with clients; an aptitude for continuous learning and sharing knowledge; proficiency in reading, analyzing, and presenting data; proactive decision-making skills; advanced problem-solving skills.
* Excellent knowledge of the English language.
* Availability to travel in Italy and abroad and/or to take on temporary or permanent assignments at the company’s foreign branches.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Robotics skills
* Knowledge of robot mechanics (direct-inverse kinematics) and motion planning techniques (nice to have).
* Programming knowledge for robots (FANUC-ABB).
* Familiarity with ROS2.
Programming Skills
* Knowledge of design patterns (nice to have).
* Knowledge of UML.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
* Familiarity with Linux Ubuntu.
