It is present in more than 80 countries with 5,000 points of sale, including more than 400 company owned stores. /p pAt Diesel’s Head Office in Milan, we are looking for abSenior Business Financial Controller /b with ab strong focus on the Retail channe /bl to join our Controlling Department. /p pThe role will report directly to the Financial Controlling Manager within the European Finance Team and will work in close collaboration with both the HQ Controlling and Administration departments, as well as with local administration teams across the region. /p pThe ideal candidate will be responsible for driving cost-efficiency initiatives across the organization and ensuring the timely and accurate execution of closing and planning processes for the assigned countries. A key part of the role will also involve strengthening the partnership with key business stakeholders to support data-driven decision‑making and financial performance improvements. /p h3Activities /h3 ul libActual closure: /bPerform month-end closing activities for the assigned major European legal entities, in accordance with Group policies, procedures, and reporting calendar. /li libBudgeting Forecasting: /bsupport the controlling team and the Business partner for the budget forecast process of the Europe region, according to the Countries/costs assigned, gathering input and developing an understanding of budget profile, including variances by channels, investment, operating expenses, Capex and Cash Flow, providing analysis of the financial forecasts. A specific focus onb IFRS16 /b may be required. /li libFinancial Control: /b grant data accuracy and reliability, in accordance with Group policies and procedures, interfacing with those functions helpful to support the daily work both at regional and HQ level.
