Adecco Life Science, specialized division of the Adecco Group, for a client company operating in the design and construction of modules, pressure vessels and heat exchangers for the pharmaceutical sector research a Sourcing Manager.
Responsibilities
* Supplier base development and optimization, prequalification and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels
* Identifies, develops, and implements regional sourcing strategies to develop and optimize supply base in Europe, prequalification and management to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate headwinds, and improve security of supply and consistency of quality
* Understands technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and user expectations
* Communicate and collaborate among related function teams to effectively resolve purchasing issues and minimize interruption to project objectives
* Develops contract strategies and effectively negotiates key commercial and supply positions to the benefit of company business requirements and goals
* Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories. Provides guidance and recommendations to Purchasing team to support margin and top line growth
* Supplier delivery expedite after PO
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Skills
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
2. Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
3. More than 5 years of experience in procurement in the engineering, automation, pharmaceutical or chemical industry
4. Prior experience in industrial or equipment manufacturing and familiar with supply base in one or more fields in Europe, such as piping, valve, instrument, construction vendor, etc.
5. International working experience (either academical or international working environments);
6. Fluent English is a must
7. Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills
8. Proven track record of driving a structured, result-oriented negotiation process and outstanding negotiation results
Benefits
9. CCNL for the Metalmeccanico sector; level and RAL will be commensurate with the candidate's experience
10. Lunch ticket €8,00 per work-day + Annual Bonus according to performance
11. Permanent contract directly with the company
Additional Information
Work location: Segrate (MI)
Working hours: full time from Monday to Friday with the possibility of some days of remote working
