We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Italy to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. This role aims to bridge our central operations team with our local Italian team. The ideal candidate is an operational expert with experience in service-oriented industries (e.g., delivery, shared mobility, or similar), excels at managing processes and reporting, and is adaptable, hands-on, and field-oriented.
Responsibilities
* Manage operational teams and processes to ensure smooth daily operations;
* Provide detailed reports and act as liaison between local and central teams;
* Handle operational tasks requiring hands-on involvement and attention to detail;
* Regularly visit the field to report and resolve on-the-ground challenges;
* Coordinate and support local teams to ensure consistent service delivery;
* Identify and implement improvements to operational processes in the field;
* Ensure operational metrics and goals are met, with regular progress reports.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in service-focused industries like delivery, mobility, or logistics;
* Strong understanding of post-sales service operations and workflow optimization;
* Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective liaison between local and global teams;
* Proficiency in English and Italian;
* Proven team and process management skills, with hands-on involvement when necessary;
* Adaptability and proactivity, including fieldwork engagement;
* Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and improving operational KPIs;
* Knowledge of smart locker systems or logistics technology;
* Understanding of local logistics and post-sales service processes;
* Experience scaling operational processes in a growing company.
