Job Description
The Food & Beverage Coordinator provides dedicated administrative, organizational, and operational support to the F&B Manager, ensuring the smooth daily functioning of our restaurants, bars, and other food and beverage outlets. This role is integral in supporting the team to deliver heartfelt care in dining experiences and contributing to efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the F&B Manager in the daily coordination of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, banqueting, and event catering, to help ensure a seamless and refined guest experience.
* Support the F&B Manager in implementing established F&B strategies and brand standards.
* Help monitor and maintain consistent standards in food and beverage quality, presentation, and service by assisting with checks and reporting observations.
* Assist with the coordination of F&B team schedules and daily briefings as directed by management.
* Prepare and distribute internal communications, reports, and presentations for the F&B department.
* Maintain organized records, menus, and operational documents for all F&B outlets.
* Assist with inventory tracking, data entry for purchasing, and coordination of deliveries from suppliers.
* Liaise with culinary leadership and the F&B Manager to gather information for menu updates and seasonal changes.
* Assist in ensuring F&B operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations by helping with documentation and checks.
* Support the F&B Manager in collecting guest feedback and assisting with initial follow-up or information gathering for issue resolution.
* Assist with onboarding new F&B team members by preparing necessary documentation and introductory materials.
* Help track F&B expenses, process invoices, and gather data for budget analysis.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or entry-level F&B role, within a 5-star hotel environment, including involvement in at least one pre-opening project.
* Good knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including wine, spirits, and cocktails.
* Basic math proficiency for handling transactions and managing budgets.
* Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
* Passion for the hospitality industry and a genuine desire to support a team in crafting enriching experiences for customers.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
