With revenues of over $40 billion and the largest investment in RD in the industry, we provide our people with resources and opportunities to make significant contributions to the world. /lilibThe job /b /lilibWhat will you do? /b /liliIn conjunction with the Vice President, Commercial Operations Europe, set and achieve or exceed sales and margin targets through new business wins and share of wallet growth. /liliManage daily, monthly, quarterly, and long-term sales metrics and forecasting processes. /liliDrive overall execution of sales goals, including establishing and maintaining business plans within each territory. /liliDrive digital campaigns, prioritize key customer interactions, and improve sales team efficiency. /liliDevelop and implement pan-European processes and standard work protocols. /liliCollaborate with Sr Segment Directors to implement segment strategies for the customer base. /liliIdentify sub-segment trends and work with marketing and strategic pricing to develop and launch campaigns that optimize opportunities and enhance team focus. /liliEmbrace digital tools and automation to improve overall sales and efficiency. /liliCollaborate with suppliers to gain value and support for the Inside Digital Sales team. /liliBe accountable for the engagement, performance, compensation, and development of the sales team. /liliPartner with the Business Development team to build and assess target lists for business development. /liliMaintain a detailed understanding of market dynamics impacting plans and strategies. /li /ulpbWho we are looking for /b /pulliBachelor’s degree in Science or Business is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered. /liliExtensive sales experience within the Life Science / Biotech industry, ideally including Inside Sales experience. /liliMultiple years of successful sales management experience, leading large teams and managing managers. /liliUnderstanding of the distribution business model, including Services. /liliAbility to understand complex markets and effectively communicate our value proposition across sectors. /liliProficiency in leadership, sales, digital tools technology, presentation skills, and a good business sense for financial and profitability drivers. /liliExcellent communication skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. /liliWilling and able to travel across Europe (25-50%) and attend regional, national, or international meetings. /liliAdvanced level of English (written and spoken). /liliValid driving license. /li /ulpbWhat’s in it for you /b /ppWe offer competitive remuneration, a sales incentive bonus scheme, and a wide range of employee benefits (specifics depend on country of hire).
