Job Description Summary In the role of Shop Operations Supervisor, you will perform the daily operations of the Avenza plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. The role is intended to be performed on 3 shifts (Night, Day, Afternoon) and is intended for graduated candidates with proven experience in managing shifts in a production environment Job Description Job Description Coordinate and supervise shop operations team, following the directions of the Planning and Manufacturing Engineering Department and Ops Leader Coordinate consistent and effective shift-to-shift transition Manage People presence in term of absence Hrs. within the shift Verify the completeness and the correctness of the documents (cycles, test plan, drawings) Make sure that all team members follow the safety rules (HSE) Organize talks on HSE issues, Quality, and improvement initiatives (i.e., Friday Projects) Collaborate with quality inspections on resolution of Nonconformity Make sure that the tools and equipment used are properly replaced at each workstation Support operators activities with expertise and facilitating technical discussion with UTOF and Engineering Department Support operators activities with expertise and facilitating technical discussion with UTOF and Engineering Department Support line performance KPIs guarantying line accounting (i.e. DL hours, Inefficiencies, attendance…) Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience High-energy, self-motivated, willing to take on responsibilities across functions and teams boundaries. Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluent in Italian and English EU work permit Desired Characteristics Interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to influence others Excellent time management skills Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
