Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies. Within the Financial Audit area we are looking for a Finance Audit Manager. The job holder will involved in the following activities: - Coordinate and manage Global, Regional and Local Financial audits (i.e. IFRS17, Capital management, Planning & Control, etc.), defining the audit program, ensuring the alignement of audit activities performed by local audit teams across the Group and supporting them as Group Audit function member, leading a diverse and cross-functional team in a complex and international environment - Present the results of the Audit Activities to the Audit Top Management - Perform annual risk assessments and develop risk-oriented audit programs, liaising with Head Office business departments and cooperating with Group legal entities audit functions - Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (Italian/European regulatory) requirements - Support the Head of the function in preparing other documentation that are part of the business as usual (i.e. Report for the Audit Management, quarterly reporting and hoc reporting) - Contribute to data analytics and automation initiatives - Plan and allocate resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules Key responsibilities of the role will include: - Management and undertaking pre, onsite and post audit activities - Oversight and follow-up audit recommendations and communication with responsible parties - Support and actively manage the relationship with local Audit teams across the Group as well as with business functions Must have - At least 6/7 years of work experience in the internal or external audit, possibly in a financial institution (insurance company, consultancy firm) with proven experience on international insurance business project - University degree (Actuarial Science or Finance and Economics preferred) - Excellent analytical thinking - Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) - Clear and effective communication at all levels of Management - Excellent command of spoken and written English Nice to have - Professional certification (ACCA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CFSA) would be an advantage - International experience (working, study, private) Soft skills - Balance, reliability, learning ability - Teamwork orientation - Capability at working under pressure
