What we expect from you:
• As Electrical Designer, he/she will be responsible for the development of electrical systems and wiring harnesses.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the Level 3 Electrical Planning for assigned projects.
* Oversee the quality of electrical components in prototypes, pre-production, and production trucks.
* Manage the 3D electrical layout.
* Define the wiring harness layout.
* Define the electrical architecture (power, ground, and signal distribution) of the trucks.
* Define the truck configuration management for electrical parts.
* Manage issues assigned to the electrical team for the project and track their status in the PIR tool.
* Manage electrical specifications for the electrical team during the RFI/RFQ phase.
* Participate in system DFMEA.
* Perform W/H Design FMEA, considering system FMEA.
* Support the system team in providing network architecture.
* Lead W/H development activities (internal and supplier activities).
* Provide technical support to purchasing and project managers for quotation and timing activities.
* Apply IDV/Astra standards.
Background:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Previous experience (3-5 years) in electrical design engineering.
* Experience with electrical architecture of rolling vehicles (power balance, wire size, power distribution).
* Knowledge in development of wiring harnesses and electrical components.
* Technical exchange with suppliers.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Excellent problem resolution skills.
* Availability to travel (around 20% of working hours), both nationally and internationally.
