Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a Service Desk Specialist in Naples for one of our top clients, a main actor in the Finance market. This role is responsible for maintenance of company end-user equipment and provide technical support for various application and network issues. As a Service Desk Specialist, the employee will also work with senior IT engineers on complex technical issues and assist with IT projects (on Workplace changes) as necessary. Responsibility for the role: Support a diverse group of energetic users with varying levels of technical expertise and requirements; Provide remote support to end-users; Maintain Thin Client, Laptops, and focusing on functionality, end user experience, and efficient problem resolution; Install & troubleshoot end user equipment including: Microsoft & third-party Software and Insurance applications (if need be); Creating/updating required technical documents for maintaining knowledge repository; Perform tasks related to onboarding and termination including configuring Laptops, Thin Clients, registering SIM card, account creation and access authorization based on provided policies; Manage and monitor the IT Support ticket queue. Requirements: English communication proficiency; 1-3 years of previous Service Desk experience; Microsoft end-user technologies (Windows 10 OS, Microsoft Office 365 suite application); Software and Remote Support; End-user technologies; Good knowledge with Windows registry; Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware issues and provide timely resolution.
