As our products evolve towards smarter, connected, and more intelligent commercial refrigeration, EPTA is building a new Group‑level electronics leadership structure. We are now looking for an Electronic Lead Engineer to play a key role in this transformation.
This is a newly created, high‑impact role — a natural next step for a senior electronics engineer who wants to move beyond local projects and lead electronics at Group level.

Your Mission
You will act as EPTA’s Group reference for electronics, coordinating and leveraging the expertise of senior electronics engineers located in different R&D sites at European level. Your focus is not just technical excellence — but harmonization, leadership, and strategic direction.
What You Will Do
Group Electronics Leadership
Lead the development of electronics across EPTA’s product portfolio
Coordinate and guide senior hardware, firmware, and embedded software experts across multiple locations (no direct reporting lines)
Define design guidelines, standards, and best practices at Group level
Electronics & Connectivity
Lead development and validation of electronic solutions for commercial refrigeration equipment
Oversee embedded firmware, electronic hardware, controllers, and field communication protocols (ModBus, LIN, CANbus, MQTT, I²C, etc.)
Contribute to architecture for in‑store communication and store‑to‑cloud connectivity
Support the development of IoT‑enabled solutions integrated with store supervisors and digital platforms
Quality, Industrialization & Compliance
Oversee PCB schematic and layout activities xjrgpwk ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and compliance
Lead EMC validation, qualification plans, and electronic testing methodologies
Ensure alignment with Group technical standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. CRA, RED)
Supplier & Innovation Interface
Support Purchasing in electronics supplier management and cost‑saving initiatives
Collaborate with Innovation Centre on technology scouting and emerging electronics solutions
Support Service and Quality teams in field issue resolution and continuous improvement
