Role DescriptionAs Housekeeper (Governante), you will ensure that guest rooms, suites, and public areas uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and luxury that define San Clemente Palace Venice. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.You will work both independently and within the housekeeping team to ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction for all guests.
Your main responsibilities will include:Guest Room & Suite CleaningCleaning and preparing guest rooms and suites according to hotel standards, including bed making, bathroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenitiesHandling daily turndown service, VIP preparations, and special guest requestsEnsuring all linens and terry items meet hygiene and presentation requirementsPublic Area & Back-of-House UpkeepMaintaining cleanliness in corridors, service areas, and designated public spacesReporting maintenance issues, safety risks, or damaged items promptly to supervisorsGuest Interaction & ServiceResponding quickly and courteously to guest requests to ensure a seamless, luxurious stayMaintaining a polished, professional appearance in accordance with grooming standardsOperational SupportFollowing daily room assignment sheets and completing tasks within expected time framesUsing cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals correctly and safelyTracking and reporting low-stock items such as amenities, linens, and cleaning suppliesHealth, Safety & Cleanliness StandardsAdhering to hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations, including PPE use when requiredFollowing all hotel SOPs and LQA service standardsAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel
