The Group's Exploration & Production (E&P) division is involved in the extraction and production of natural gas. In Italy, it holds 40 mining concessions, with 30 being Operated Assets. The company is also involved in Romania as a partner in a non-operated concession and is seeking new opportunities. For its headquarters located in Fornovo di Taro (Parma), the company is looking for a candidate to fill a Senior Reservoir & Petroleum Engineer position.
Role and Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive reservoir studies to evaluate reservoir characteristics.
* Analyze, verify, and implement reservoir simulation models.
* Plan production parameter monitoring, evaluate production profiles, and implement actions to improve or maintain well output performance.
* Assist in preparing production reports and annual production budgets.
* Manage well-testing activities, including programming and interpretation.
* Monitor and predict reservoir performance using advanced modeling techniques.
* Serve as the technical interface for the reservoir area in the Technical Committees of various Joint Venture Groups.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering (preferred), or in Mining, Environmental, Hydraulic, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum of five years of work experience in Reservoir Engineering.
Languages
* Italian (required) and English (written and spoken).
Main Requirements
* Experience in gas field management and production optimization.
* Experience in designing, supervising, and interpreting well tests and monitoring well performance.
* Technical skills in reservoir numerical modeling (Eclipse), well testing (Saphir), and well performance tools.
* Experience in Data Management and Decline Curve Analysis (DCA).
