This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Amazon corporate accounting teams across APAC to ensure high quality and timely deliverables in the statutory and financial compliance space. Strong organizational skills and information technology aptitude. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the Management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policies /li liMake sure the proper reconciliation of accounts, resolve and close open items on time /li liLead projects that contribute to the team's overall efficiency /li liAnalyze data provided by variant tools and systems for internally financial analysis, reporting and documentation /li liPlay an important role in promoting systems/process development within department to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) /li li5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience /li liExperience with SQL and advanced Excel /li liExperience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes /li liFluent in business English, both verbal and written /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liMBA, or CPA /li li4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience /li liKnowledge of Tableau /li liExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
