About the Role
The position of Senior Field Service Technician requires a highly skilled and resourceful individual with extensive experience in a manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic interventions on complex automated industrial systems.
Key responsibilities include acting as an interface with customers for on-site activities, ensuring excellent service in terms of punctuality, precision, and effectiveness. This involves performing post-installation assistance on very complex automatic machines at customer sites, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/electronic faults, and installing related components to resolve issues.
Additional duties include using measuring tools for verification and calibration, performing small/medium installations of additional plant components, and participating in problem analysis and contributing to defining action plans.
Requirements
* A high school diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.
* Knowledge of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics is required.
* Basic knowledge of PLCs and measurement and calibration instrumentation is preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with customers are essential.
* The ability to manage own work independently with the primary goal of customer satisfaction and make effective decisions is required.
* Excellent listening skills and strong problem-solving abilities are necessary.
* Natural predisposition to teamwork, focused on achieving team goals is essential.
Work Environment
This role operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

* The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
* The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
Travel Requirements
Frequent business travels within the United States are required, for approximately 80-100 days per year.
