We’re seeking an Automation Engineer to join an innovative industrial automation team, working on process plant projects within the Food & Beverage sector.Role SummaryAs an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining automation solutions for process plants in the Food & Beverage industry. You will be involved in all project stages — from software design and testing to on-site installation and troubleshooting — ensuring efficiency, safety, and technological innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop automation software components (PLC, HMI, Safety Devices); Support the designand development of electrical projects; Assist the Supply Chain during internal testing and on-site installation; Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with clients when needed; Manage modificationsand upgrades of existing machines and plants; Prepare and maintaintechnical documentation for automated systems.RequirementsTechnical diploma or degree in Computer Engineering or Industrial Automation ; 2–4 years of experience in similar roles; Strong knowledge of PLC/HMI/SCADA programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or similar); Availability for short business trips (approximately 30% of working time); Good command of the English language ; Team player attitude, proactive approach, and excellent communication skills.Location: Tuscany area (Siena and surroundings)Interested?Apply through PeoItaly with your CV (in English & Italian).
