Experteer Overview In this role you drive accurate financial records for multiple EMEA entities and support month-end and year-end closes. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure controls and compliance under IFRS/GAAP, while mentoring junior staff and supporting audits. You will optimize processes to improve efficiency and provide insightful financial analysis to the business. Responsibilities
- Coordinate a team handling daily accounting tasks across several EMEA entities
- Support month-end and year-end close activities with timely, accurate reporting
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Assist in external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and provide financial insights
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics & Finance, or related fields
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus
- Experience in audit firms or multinational companies is a plus
