The role covers yard activities in China followed by offshore execution in Qatar.The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for overall commissioning strategy, execution, team leadership, stakeholder coordination, and safe delivery of systems to operations in compliance with project specifications and international standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the full commissioning lifecycle from pre-commissioning to start-up and handoverDevelop commissioning strategy, execution plans, procedures, and schedulesManage multidisciplinary commissioning activities (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Process)Oversee system completion, MC walkdowns, punch clearance, and documentation controlCoordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Vendors, Operations, and HSE teamsEnsure readiness for commissioning and smooth transition from construction to commissioningMonitor performance testing and validation against project requirementsIdentify and resolve technical issues, risks, and non-conformitiesEnsure strict compliance with HSE policies and international standardsProvide leadership, direction, and mentoring to commissioning teamsReport progress, milestones, risks, and performance to project managementQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Process)Minimum 15+ years of commissioning and start-up experienceProven experience as Commissioning Manager or Senior Commissioning Lead on large EPC/EPCM projectsStrong knowledge of system completion, turnover, and handover processesOffshore project experience is essentialKey CompetenciesStrong leadership and decision-making abilityExcellent stakeholder and contractor managementMultidisciplinary technical expertiseRisk management and problem-solving under pressureStrong reporting and communication skillsPosition 2: Commissioning LeadLocation: China (Onshore Yard – 4 Months) & Qatar Offshore (11 Months)Duration: 15 Months (Contract)Industry: Oil & Gas / Power / Industrial ProjectsExperience Level: Senior / Lead Engineer (10–15 Years)Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Commissioning Lead to support the Commissioning Manager in executing commissioning and start-up activities for a major offshore project. The role involves leading discipline-specific commissioning teams and ensuring safe and efficient system testing and handover. xpavfwmThe Commissioning Lead will play a key role in coordinating field execution, troubleshooting, and ensuring systems meet design and operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead discipline-specific commissioning activities (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Process)Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing activitiesSupport development of commissioning procedures and method statementsCoordinate with construction teams to ensure systems are ready for testingParticipate in walkdowns, punch listing, and system handover processesSupervise commissioning technicians and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with safety standards and permit-to-work systemsSupport start-up, stabilization, and performance testingPrepare commissioning reports and documentationQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline)Minimum 10–15 years of experience in commissioning or start-up activitiesExperience working on large EPC projectsOffshore experience preferredStrong understanding of system completion and turnover processesKey CompetenciesStrong technical and troubleshooting skillsGood leadership and team coordinationEffective communication skillsAbility to work in offshore environmentsStrong focus on safety and quality
