As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
* Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
* Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
* Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
* Train and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Engineering.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
* Relevant experience in NDT in laboratory.
* Relevant experience in products of the energy sector.

Compensation
The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 31,200 to 42,900.
All provisions of the Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will apply to this role. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
