Ph3Introduction /h3 pNestled in the picturesque surroundings of Collecchio, near the vibrant city of Parma, dsm‑firmenich is proud to announce the opening of a cutting‑edge production plant in early 2027. This new state‑of‑the‑art facility will feature the latest technologies for powder flavours, including dried products, blends and reaction flavours, with automated packaging lines, a modern warehouse, sampling, QC lab and capacity to ship. The site aims to advance the Taste, Texture Health philosophy of dsm‑firmenich, bringing together talent and technology to shape the future of food innovation. /p pWe are seeking an experienced Product Industrialization Engineer to join our Industrialization Team in the Taste division. This role is the crucial link between innovation and production, ensuring each new flavour formula is manufactured efficiently across our global network. /p h3Location /h3 pCollecchio (Parma), Italy. Travelling: 15% in Europe. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDrive product development from recipe review through pilot trials to first production batch, using both new and existing technologies and create corresponding manufacturing instructions. /li liAct as a technical expert aligning process capability for large‑scale execution, enabling introduction of new technologies, supporting and leading site‑level initiatives and driving process improvements. /li liSupport post‑launch reviews to ensure continuous improvement. /li liCollaborate with creators to optimise formulations to achieve a "design for manufacturing" purpose. /li liTrain manufacturing operators for successful product launches. /li liShare best practices and actively contribute to regional initiatives. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liUnique career paths across health, nutrition and beauty – explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen. /li liA chance to impact millions of consumers every day – sustainability embedded in all we do. /li liA science‑led company, cutting‑edge research and creativity everywhere, from biotech breakthroughs to sustainability game‑changers. /li liGrowth that keeps up with you – you join an industry leader that will develop your expertise and leadership. /li liA culture that lifts you up – with collaborative teams, shared wins, and people who cheer each other on. /li liA community where your voice matters – it is essential to serve our customers well. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or equivalent expertise gained through experience in a complex, fast‑paced environment. /li liMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment within the food ingredients (flavours) industry – this is a must. /li liSolid knowledge of manufacturing practices, process safety analysis, and job safety analysis. /li liSAP knowledge is a plus, as well as certification in Six Sigma or experience with Lean methodology. /li liStrong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. /li liContinuous improvement mindset; skilled at analysing and solving problems while fostering collaboration. /li liAutonomous and rigorous team player, with strong communication skills to interact across all levels of the organisation, share information effectively, and deliver impactful presentations. /li liFluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Inclusion Statement /h3 pAt dsm‑firmenich, we believe being a force for good starts with the way we treat each other.
