Project Engineer
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team in the paper manufacturing industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing engineering projects that enhance production efficiency, sustainability, and product quality.
This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion within budget and timeline.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and R&D; to identify improvement opportunities.
Design and implement process upgrades for pulp and paper production lines.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations.
Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment installation and commissioning.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
Strong knowledge of paper production processes, machinery, and materials.
Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools and mechanical drawing Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Fluent in English Preferred Skills Experience with sustainability projects and energy efficiency improvements.
Familiarity with automation systems and digital transformation initiatives.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
