EMEA Financial Controller (Fixed-term contract)
Moleskine is looking for an EMEA Financial Controller to join our team on a fixed-term contract, based in our headquarters in Milan.
In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial performance across the EMEA region. You'll be responsible for overseeing controlling activities, ensuring accurate P&L management, and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic and operational decisions. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will work closely with commercial and leadership teams.
Your main responsibilities
* Own and analyze the EMEA P&L, including variance analysis vs budget and forecast
* Lead and coordinate Budget and Forecast processes (BGT & Rolling Forecast)
* Monitor sales performance, margins, and cost structure, identifying risks and opportunities
* Develop ad hoc financial reports and KPIs for both management and HQ
* Partner with commercial teams to support business initiatives and strategic decisions
* Supervise and develop a junior controlling resource
* Support management with financial evaluations, scenario analysis, and business cases
What we are looking for
* 1-3 years of experience in Controlling or Finance roles
* Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
* Background in Financial Controlling, Business Controlling, or FP&A within structured organizations
* Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools
* Strong analytical mindset and business orientation
* Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
* Proactive attitude and a collaborative, solution-driven approach
