<p><strong>About us</strong></p><p>Established in 2017 as a Pirelli spin-off, Prometeon Tyre Group is the only tyre manufacturer that focuses entirely on the Industrial, namely transport of goods and people, Agro and Off the Road (OTR) sectors.</p><p>With a more than 8,000 employees across 30 nationalities, 4 manufacturing sites, 4 R&D centers and a commercial presence spanning 160 countries in 5 continents, the Company is the trusted partner for everyone who demands high-quality industrial tyres with a special focus on performance and sustainability.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Logistic Services Buyer</strong> to join our international Procurement & Logistics team.</p><p>In this role, you will manage <strong>logistics services purchasing</strong>, support <strong>international transportation flows</strong>, and work closely with <strong>Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics stakeholders</strong> to ensure cost control, service performance and operational continuity across global markets.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in <strong>logistics procurement, transportation services and supplier management</strong>, looking to grow in a <strong>dynamic, international supply chain environment</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilites</strong></p><ul><li>Support the <strong>Finance team</strong> in the <strong>invoice validation and cost control process</strong>, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed logistics rates</li><li>Perform <strong>logistics cost analysis</strong> and <strong>transportation cost evaluations</strong>, validating pricing for each shipment with internal stakeholders and external <strong>logistics service providers</strong></li><li>Act as a key user and reference for the <strong>Transportation Management System (TMS)</strong>, contributing to system maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement</li><li>Manage and develop the relationship with the <strong>Brazil sourcing hub</strong>, providing daily operational support on <strong>finished product export logistics</strong></li><li>Coordinate <strong>inbound international logistics flows</strong> from <strong>raw material suppliers</strong> to Prometeon factories</li><li>Work cross-functionally with the <strong>Supply Chain team</strong> to define <strong>international transportation strategies and logistics requirements</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>2 years of experience in Logistics Procurement / Purchasing</strong>, Transportation or Supply Chain roles</li><li>Master’s Degree in <strong>Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics or Management</strong></li><li>Proven experience in managing <strong>logistics service providers</strong>, including <strong>transport carriers, freight forwarders, 3PL and warehousing providers</strong></li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>RFQ processes, supplier evaluation and negotiation</strong> in logistics and transportation services</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>logistics cost structures</strong> (transport rates, fuel surcharge, accessorial and extra costs)</li><li>Strong <strong>analytical skills</strong>, with the ability to perform <strong>cost comparison and spend analysis</strong></li><li>Advanced proficiency in <strong>MS Excel</strong> and solid knowledge of <strong>MS Office tools</strong></li><li><strong>Fluent English</strong> (written and spoken); <strong>Italian required</strong></li><li>Proactive, autonomous and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate in a <strong>fast-paced, international supply chain environment</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p>👉 <strong>Ready to take the next step in your logistics procurement career?
